SARNIA, Ontario — Fans saw a little bit of everything over the past seven days across the CCAA women’s basketball landscape.

Out in the ACAC, Tracy Lewis recorded a triple-double in a 19-point win for the Briercrest College Clippers, on the road no less. Another player recorded a double-double in a home win against her former program to lead her new team to a hard-fought, six-point victory to continue their strong season.

On the East Coast, the Mount Saint Vincent Mystics continued their strong start to the season by picking up two more wins to remain undefeated in ACAA play. Their veterans have led the way for most of the season, but Mark Forward’s team has depth on both sides of the ball that can hopefully take them on another run towards the CCAA Championship.

In Quebec, the Dawson Blues maintained their top ranking in the CCAA with a 15-point win on the road over the Champlain – St. Lambert Cavaliers. Overall, the weekly results played out almost as expected, with the exception of a few close calls and minor upsets along the way.

While several teams put forth strong efforts on both ends of the floor, there were several players that had impressive performances over the last seven days. In fact, five players from each conference stood out above their fellow competitors, and they make up this week’s edition of the Starting Five.
